“2 X Again” features songs from MAB’s classic “No Boundaries” and “Planet Gemini” CDs re mixed, re mastered and the drums performed by young drum virtuoso Joe Babiak. Also included are various interludes and demos recorded during the “No Boundaries” sessions that are a “must have” for MAB fans. The mix and production of “2 X Again” are amazing. Chris Djuricic (“HWS” CD) tracked the drums and mixed the entire CD. James Murphy (ex Testament, Death guitarist) mastered the CD. The cover photo was taken by Stephen Jensen and the CD artwork and graphics were designed by Paul Kuhr.

Michael Angelo Batio "No Boundaries" CD This is Michael Angelo Batio’s first solo CD and has been heralded as one of the top 10 instrumental guitar CD's of the '90's. Released in 1995 this disc "hit the metal charts" and has been sold all over the world. Here is a review of the CD written by Kevin Prowse- Although I have never heard Angelo's former band "Nitro", this instrumental offering is definitely on of the best of the 90's. He starts off with a guitar solo which begins with great sweep arpeggios and furious displays of speed picking. The album is a diverse collection of musical styles ranging from rock, metal, blues, neoclassical and funk. This is an album I can listen to straight through. If I had to pick favorites, they would be "Science Fiction", "Rain Forest" and the title track "No Boundaries". These songs exhibit a mastery of various lead techniques like speed picking, string skipping, arpeggios and cross string tapping. He is one of the cleanest guitarists ever and a big influence on my style. Great album that is a definite must buy!

"Planet Gemini:" is the incredible follow-up to Michael's "No Boundaries" CD. This second disc released in 1997 has a very progressive, hard edged sound from beginning to end. The title track "Planet Gemini" starts with a memorable pentaonic melody and then breaks into one of the fastest, cleanest blues riffs ever played. He also displays his great acoustic guitar playing on this track as well as in some other songs on the CD. One of the best reasons to get "Planet Gemini" is the song "Time Traveler". There is a lead solo section that is so outside and fast that it is incomprehensible that a human could even play it! His guitar tone like "No Boundaries" is thick and smooth making the fast parts very audible and immaculate. There are many "mixed meters" on this CD and the songs start and stop "on a dime" with tight arrangements and very clean production. Michael also does a remake of the song "The Jam Game" adding drummer Chuck White and keyboardist Frank Lucas to give this a flavor all of it's own. Added to the mix are 2 never before heard instrumental versions of the songs “So Much to Live For” and “These Four Walls”. This CD has been a big seller! There are also some great photos of him on this disc.
